The First Session
The initial intake session will help us determine together what options are likely to be most helpful for you. During this first session, we both have the opportunity to get to know each other and ask questions. Initial paperwork and logistics will be reviewed. We will also ask questions about your history and what you want to be different in your life.
Here are some of the support options beyond the initial session:
Individual In-Person Counseling
This is an effective option for those wanting to focus on self-growth and change. Face-to-face individual sessions allow for a personalized approach. Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes in length. We see clients 12 and up.
Short for "Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing," EMDR Therapy is a highly effective treatment for relieving psychological stress. EMDR has been extensively researched and proven to be effective. Often used for healing past trauma, EMDR can also be greatly beneficial for many other issues. Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes in length.
Every couple needs a little help getting back on track and improving communication from time to time. Paige Evans focuses on helping couples work through their stuck places and build a stronger union. Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes in length.
